Wow!

We've been getting much the same response that Jeremy describes, but Natasha thinks that Lupe was "only" 13.7 lbs at the same check-in that Kentaro was 14.4 lbs. What's particularly crazy is that there is absolutely no reason to believe that either of them will grow up top be big people.

Well, as you all already know, our little Lupe is a genius. This week, he has started to grab toys in order to further study their geometric structure in his sustained investigation of applied physics. In addition to his hands and eyes, his primary assessment tool is his mouth. We are, of course, very proud of the work that he is doing, and fully expect it to lead to important breakthroughs in the coming months.

In addition, we are equally proud of the four hour stretch he slept last night. Natasha, in particular, is looking forward to a more consistent application of this behavior.
