Well, that didn't last long. A couple of days after that last post - and yes a day before he turns six months old - and he's actually done it. It's still slow and laborious, but he has unmistakably put all of the elements together. He is crawling.
He went about twice as far as he does in this video a little later, but he still gets stuck more than he moves. I don't suppose that will last, either...
